Maddison is steps away from crossing the stage of Westfield High School.
I met up with Maddison, her mom, and her sister - accompanied by their super cute dog! Maddison and I then ventured down the trail at River Heritage Park then wandered around to various spots in the park. Maddison was so fun to shoot - I could tell right away that she understood the importance of sarcasm in life haha! (Perhaps to her mother's chagrin) Her playful spirit and relaxed demeanor made our photo shoot a breeze!
We totally lucked out - It was a gorgeous day that was plopped right in the middle of several days of rain and we had all crossed our fingers (it worked!!!) for a nice day for photos. It was great, too, because her truck was to be in the photos, so it made it there all shiny and camera ready! 💁🏻🚙 (ok, seriously, why are there no pickup truck emojis!? Am I missing it?)
She was equipped with a plethora of outfit changes, so we were able to narrow it down to a few to show off different sides of her personality. It's always obvious to me when someone changes into what they're most comfortable in, even if they don't realize it.
For Maddison, it was definitely the more comfy casual clothes. It totally made complete sense that the song she picked to describe her life was "The Weekend" by Brantley Gilbert. Hanging out with friends is one of her favorite things to do. Maddison is staying in the Indianapolis area and attending college for accounting after she graduates.
Maddison was my favorite kind of person to photograph, because she was up for pretty much anything. So, kicking off her shoes and walking barefoot through the grass was no big deal. And of course, what photographer can resist shooting sans shoes? Not this girl! :)
Thanks again for being so awesome, Maddison!!! Best of luck to you, girl. Congrats!
